PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a staircase lift preventing a seat part from obstructing a user and capable of moving with resembling a natural move of the user in human engineering way when the user, in particular a disabled person sits on or leaves from the seat of the staircase lift. SOLUTION: At least the seat part is pivotally mounted upward and downward on a pivot shaft essentially horizontal on a side toward a seat back and a guide mechanism part for leaving from or sitting on the seat is formed thereon.
