PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the degradation of quality of a recording image by a contact with a following recording sheet to be delivered due to the ink not dried yet on the delivered recording sheet. SOLUTION: This recording device is provided with a recording head 30 for recording on the recording sheet 35, a pair of carrying rollers 14 and 15 for carrying the recording sheet 35, a pair of delivery rollers 16 and 17 for delivering the recording sheet 35 outside of the recording device, a delivery tray 40 for temporarily storing the recorded recording sheet, and a delivered sheets housing tray 43 for housing the recording sheets 35 temporarily stored in the delivery tray 40.
