PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat sensitive recording material, matching of which with a thermal head is excellent, with which a favorable image gloss is obtained and haze of a non-image part of which is a few. SOLUTION: This heat sensitive recording material has a heat sensitive recording layer including a substantially non-photosensitive organic silver salt on a transparent support, and a protective layer including a matting agent dispersed in a binder on the farther side of the support than the heat sensitive recording layer under the condition that the average particle diameter of the matting agent is below 0.7 times as much as the thickness of the protective layer. |
