PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ID card renewing system and an ID card renewing method capable of reducing labor and time to be applied to an applicant for applying the renewal of the available period and capable of issuing a new ID card having a face photograph prepared on the side of the applicant recorded thereon. SOLUTION: In a driving license renewing system 1, the applicant for applying the renewal of a driving license inputs the number of the driving license and face photograph data through a renewal applying terminal 2. The licence data controlled on the basis of the number of the license by a host computer is obtained in a renewal applying server 4 and the face photograph data is synthesized with the license data to form printing data printed on a new driving license. Further, the new driving license, on which the printing data prepared in the renewal applying server 4 is printed, is formed in a license forming device 6. |
