PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sublimation type thermal transfer image receiving sheet which is excellent in light resistance or the like and during the storage of which over a long period of time, no lowering of an image quality develops and a sublimation type thermal transfer recording method employing the sublimation type thermal transfer image receiving sheet. SOLUTION: In the sublimation type thermal transfer image receiving sheet employed in combination with a sublimation type thermal transfer sheet equipped with an ink layer including one kind or more of indoaniline-based dye on a base material, a dye image receiving layer including one kind or more of vinyl chloride-based resin is provided on a substrate under the condition that the dye image receiving layer includes a substance having a proton scavenging power. |
