<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the burglarproofness of a lock device by a simple structure. SOLUTION: In the lock device for a car, a recessed section 5 is formed on the surface side of a resin body 3, a latch 17 and a ratchet 20 are housed in the recessed section 5, a bulging section 4 backwards bulged for permitting the penetration of a striker 2 is formed on the rear side of the resin body 3 while an operating section 23 with a ratchet lever 24 integrally moved with the ratchet 20, an open lever 30 and a lock lever 34 making door-opening operation by the open lever 30 impossible is installed on the rear aide of the resin body 3, the operating section 23 is arranged in a space formed on the lower side of the backwards bulging section 4, a backward projecting wall 6 continuously connected so as to be extended to a rear lower section elongated in the car outside direction from the bulging section 4 is formed to the resin body 3, and the car-outside upper section and car-outside side section of the car- outside end section 25 of the ratchet lever 24 are surrounded by the backward projecting wall 6.</p> |
