PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new cross-linker causing improved properties, e.g. improved scratch resistance of a cured baking coating or having good solubility and a heat-curable coating comprising the cross-linker. SOLUTION: This cross-linker for the heat-curable coating comprises a starting component: (A) an aliphatic and/or an alicyclic polyisocyanate having 2-6 NCO functional value, (B) a secondary 3-aminopropyltrialkoxysilane and (C) a blocking agent.
