PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a serpentine coil to be assembled to a heat exchanger together with a spacer by mounting two upper and lower spacer members to a bent part or its vicinity from the upper and lower locations at the time of supporting a heat exchange coil with a fin and after the brazing work of a straight pipe and the bent part and other serpentine coils. SOLUTION: After the brazing work of the straight pipe 31 and the bent part 32 in a heat exchange coil is performed, a pair of angle bars C1 of a spacer C are fitted to the heat exchange coil from the upper and lower locations. The vicinity of the connection part between the bent part 32 and the straight pipe 31 of the heat exchange coil is embraced between the embracing grooves that are formed in the upper and lower angle bars C1 from the upper and lower locations. Moreover, a swelling part C4 is allowed to pass through the two embracing grooves that are located at both ends of each angle bar C1. The straight pipe 31 is located at the bottom of the embracing groove, and the heat exchange coil is fixed between the upper and lower angle bars C1. |
