PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a speed reduction degree from being lacked due to a cheap constitution at the time of turning on a small R/highμroad at a low speed and at the time of low speed traveling on a splitμroad with a different road surface friction coefficient at right and left. SOLUTION: When a car body speed reduction degree used for an ABS control is renewed from a highμroad value to an operation value in a control unit and it is determined that a road surface has a low friction road surface coefficient at the time of high speed traveling higher than a predetermined speed or even at the time of non-high speed traveling lower than the predetermined speed, an early renewal control for renewing to the operation value is executed when a returning point or a separation point is generated on one of right and left front wheels. Whereas, when it is determined that the road surface friction coefficient is a high friction coefficient at the time of non-high speed traveling lower than the predetermined speed, the road value is not renewed to the operation value until the returning point or the separation point is generated on both of the right and left front wheels. Thereafter, when the returning point or the separation point is generated on both of right and left front wheels, a delay renewal control for renewing the operation value based on the returning point generated later is executed.
