PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ferritic stainless steel sheet having excellent formability by which problems such as reduction in productivity at hot rolling can be solved. SOLUTION: In the ferritic stainless steel sheet having excellent formability, the average grain size dx before final cold rolling and the average grain size dz of the final product sheet satisfy dx<=3dz. Moreover, it is further desirable in terms of improvement in formability that dx<=2dz is satisfied.
