PURPOSE: Provided is a phosphate type hard water-resistant antifreeze composition containing a sequestering agent, which dose not have toxicity and has an excellent anti-corrosion ability against various metals of an engine cooling system. CONSTITUTION: The phosphate type hard water-resistant antifreeze composition contains 0.3-0.7wt% of sodium phosphate, 2-5wt% of sodium benzoate and 0.5-3.0wt% of sodium succinate as carboxy-based metal corrosion-proofing agents, 0.01-0.5wt% of ethylene diamine tetraacetic acid(EDTA) as the sequestering agent, 0.15-0.4wt% of tolyltriazole and 0.15-0.5wt% of benzotriazole as copper-based corrosion-proofing agents, 0.3-0.6wt% of sodium nitrate and 0.2-0.5wt% of sodium molybdate as aluminum corrosion-proofing agents. |
