PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermosetting coating composition excellent in storage stability and coating film performance. SOLUTION: This composition contains 10-90 mass% acrylic copolymer which contains 5-90 mass% monomer units derived from an epoxy-group-containing vinyl monomer represented by formula [1] (R1 is H or methyl; and R2 is H, methyl or ethyl) and has an epoxy equivalent of 200-900 g/eq.
