PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact ink jet printer in which an ink jet head can be electrically connected to a circuit board for simply and surely impressing a voltage to an electrode without being affected by heat, an ink leakage of the ink jet head can be simply and surely prevented, and can be driven by a low current and print at a high speed. SOLUTION: There is arranged the circuit board 5 for impressing the voltage to the electrode 2a. The circuit board 5 and the electrode 2a are electrically connected via a conductive rubber connector 20. Alternatively, there is arranged the circuit board 5 for impressing the voltage to the electrode 2b, and the circuit board 5 and the electrode 2b are electrically connected via the conductive rubber connector 20. Moreover, between the ink jet head 2 and a member 3 for supplying ink to the ink jet head 2 is sealed by the conductive rubber connector 20.
