PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soundproof material for a vehicle at a low cost appropriate for recycle and made of opened fabric of cellulose having excellent sound absorbing performance and a crushed material as a base material. SOLUTION: This soundproof material is formed of a sound absorbing and cutting component based on the cellulose-based opened fabric material and the crushed material and a resin binder for connecting the sound absorbing and cutting component, and molded into the shape of a car body panel. A high melting point synthetic resin fiber, a natural fiber or a recycled material is added. The cellulose-based material 20 such as an insulator dash 10 or the like is directly molded in a mold, or a cellulose raw mat M is manufactured by a chip urethane manufacturing method or a non-woven fabric manufacturing method, and a thermal softening processing is performed, and thereafter, the soundproof material is formed into a required shape by pressing.
