PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent vibration and a noise from being generated even when an electric power source has a waveform where a voltage is varied such as a half-wave rectification type, and constitute a control circuit at low cost, by using a semi-rigid magnetic material for a magnetic pole positioned in a fixed part. SOLUTION: This directional control valve comprises structure having a rotary part including a permanent magnet, wherein a position of the rotary part is held in an unexcited condition by attractive force owing to the permanent magnet and the magnetic pole of a solenoid coil 9 positioned in the non- rotational part, and wherein an operational direction of the rotary part is reversed in an excited condition by switching an exciting direction for the solenoid coil 9. The semi-rigid magnetic material is used for the whole of the magnetic pole or its one portion in the directional control valve.
