PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a unit tile capable of dispensing with joining work and preventing the unevenness in color and the unevenness in execution of work of joint parts. SOLUTION: Tiles 20 are placed one by one on a rectangular area 16 obtained by applying the adhesive 18 prepared by mixing a thermosetting vinyl chloride sol and hollow coal ash in the weight ratio of 50:50 to an inner projecting part 14b of a fixing board 10 by a roller coater, and an upper face of the adhesive is sufficiently covered by colored silica sand 22, and heated at 200 deg.C for 10 minutes to cure the adhesive. The excess silica sand 22 is brushed off after the silica sand is properly cooled, and the tiles 20 (that is, tile unit) connected to each other by the adhesive 18 is taken out. As the adhesive 18 is packed in the joint parts without interruption, the joining work after the execution of work is unnecessary. As the packing and the curing of the adhesive 18 to the joint parts are executed in a factory, the unevenness in color and the unevenness in execution of work of the joint parts can be remarkably reduced.
