PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a core material for an earth retaining wall with rigidity and easy manufacture formed by connecting a plurality of wide flange beams uniformalizing gaps between male joints and female joints in all directions and guaranteeing accuracy when connecting a joint part. SOLUTION: This core material has a junction body formed by joining the plurality of wide flange beams, the male joint comprising a square steel pipe installed in one rim part of one flange of the junction body, and the C-shaped female joint having a corner removing one corner from a square steel pipe installed in another rim of another flange. A male joint of a core material of a first earth retaining wall is freely inserted inside a female joint of a core material of a second earth retaining wall, and an outer circumferential face of the male joint and an inner circumferential face of the female joint contact or horizontally face each other.
