PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a muffler having a structure removing from the muffler a risk of becoming a weapon strangling the neck as the case may be. SOLUTION: This muffler is characterized in that mufflers (1) and (2) each having a length shorter than that of a standard one are prepared and detachably joined together with e.g. a Hook-and-Loop fastener, a snap, and when joined together, the joined strength is brought to an extent being separated from each other through being pulled in the left-right opposite direction.
