PURPOSE: An expression generating system and an expression generating method using the system are provided to create a three-dimensional image using a two-dimensional image and to change the three-dimensional into a desired form. CONSTITUTION: An expression generating system(100) includes at least three video input devices(104) for inputting a two-dimensional image of an object, a server(108) and an input/output device(110). The server has a recording medium and a database. The recording medium records program and operation program required for operating the program. The program calculates the three-dimensional position of each portion of the object by processing and analyzing the two-dimensional image inputted through the video input devices, generates a computer model for the object to simulate the object on a computer, calculates a displacement coefficient of each portion of the object from the computer model, and changes the expression of the computer model according to a variation in the displacement coefficient. The database stores external data. The input/output device corrects the displacement coefficient and displays information output from the server.
