PURPOSE: A honing tool for a machining center is provided to make unnecessary a separate reaming work and a boring die setting and to reduce the production cost by allowing a honing work to be carried out by the honing tool usable in the machining center. CONSTITUTION: A honing tool for a machining center comprises an incoolant-type holder(100), a cylinder portion(110), a shaft(120), a shoe(130), a honing stone(140) and a return spring(150). The incoolant-type holder(100) has a coolant inflow hole at the upside thereof. The cylinder portion(110) is provided within the holder(100). The cylinder portion(110) generates pressure according to the amount of a coolant flowing thereinto through the holder(100). The shaft(120) is connected to the cylinder portion(110) at one end thereof. The shaft(120) makes a linear movement according to the pressure generated within the cylinder portion(110). The other end of the shaft(120) extends downward and has a plurality of cones(122) disposed at regular spacing and each having an oblique surface. The shoe(130) is moved in the left-and-right direction of the shaft(120) while it contacts slidingly with the oblique surfaces of the cones(122). The honing stone(140) is fixedly connected to the outer surface of the shoe(130), and functions to hone a workpiece. The return spring(150) is mounted between the bottom surface of the cylinder portion(110) and the one end of the shaft(120) for applying return force to the shaft(120).
