PURPOSE: A transfer car moving system for a welding line is provided to reduce unnecessary facility investment cost for non-main production cars by subdividing welding process and increasing activities of transfer cars, and freely arrange the transfer cars for main and non-main production cars. CONSTITUTION: The transfer car moving system for a welding line comprises a transfer car waiting process part(S) in the center of which a branch process part(P) is arranged, first, second, third and fourth transfer car intermediate waiting process parts(S1-S4) are arranged around the branch process part(P) in four directions, and first, second, third and fourth transfer car waiting process parts(D1-D4) are arranged at left and right sides of the first and second transfer car intermediate waiting process parts(S1,S2) with being neighboring the third and fourth transfer car intermediate waiting process parts(S3,S4); a part loading process part(L) which is arranged in front of the first transfer car intermediate waiting process part(S1) to sequentially load subassembly parts onto transfer cars; a first welding process part(W1) which is arranged in a direction of the left side of the third transfer car intermediate waiting process part(S3) to primarily weld the subassembly parts sequentially loaded onto the transfer cars in the part loading process part(L); and a second welding process part(W2) which is arranged in a direction of the right side of the fourth transfer car intermediate waiting process part(S4) to secondly weld the subassembly parts that are primarily welded in the first welding process part(W1), wherein each of the process parts are connected through rails(R) so that a plurality of transfer cars are moved on the rails(R).
