PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hold necessary inner pressure at the time of vulcanization and molding of a tire by a simple structure. SOLUTION: A toroidal inner mold 3 comprising an elastomer and having an opening part 3c in its diameter direction is provided and a green tire 2 is arranged on the outer peripheral surface of the inner mold 3 and, after the green tire 2 is inserted into an outer mold 4 for forming the outer peripheral surface of the tire 2 in such a state that the inner mold 3 is axially compressed, the inner mold 3 is axially expanded to urge the arranged green tire 2 to the outer mold 4.
