PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a flavoring agent having a pasta smell and to provide a method for producing pastas using the flavoring agent. SOLUTION: This flavoring agent contains one or more kinds of aliphatic aldehydes of general formula I: R1-CHO (R1 is a 4-10C straight-chain or branched alkyl group), one or more kinds of aliphatic hydrocarbon of general formula II: R2H (R2 is a 3-10C straight-chain or branched alkyl group or alkenyl group) and one or more kinds of substituted furans of general formula III (R3 is a formyl group, a hydroxymethyl group, a hydroxyethyl group, a 1-7C straight- chain or branched alkyl group). This method for producing pastas uses the flavoring agent. |
