PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analytical method in which various microorganisms, especially salmonellae, are isolated and detected quickly and with high sensitivity and to provide an analyzer used for the method. SOLUTION: In the analytical method for the microorganisms, a sample containing the microorganisms is capillary-electrophoresed by using a migration buffer solution containing an alginate. Alternatively, in the analytical method for the microorganisms, the sample containing the microorganisms is treated with a fluorescent antibody bonded to the microorganisms, they are capillary- electrophoresed, and the microorganisms labeled with the fluorescent antibody are fluorescence-detected. In the method for analyzing the microorganisms by using a capillary electrophoretic operation, the analyzer for the microorganisms is provided with (i) a water tank containing the migration buffer solution containing the alginate, (ii) a capillary which isolates the microorganisms injected into the migration buffer solution and (iii) a detection means which detects the isolated microorganisms. |
