摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-performance reflection type liquid crystal display that the accuracy of coordinate input of a digitizer is not deceased, that shadow lines of a pattern are not produced, that decrease in luminance is prevented and that the accuracy of coordinate input of the digitizer is increased. SOLUTION: A sensor substrate 5 is disposed on the back face of a liquid crystal panel (a) of a reflection type liquid crystal display A, and a pen type external coordinate input device 7 is disposed on the display screen. A printed circuit board 1 is disposed adjacent to the end face of the liquid crystal cell (a), and a driver IC 4 for driving the liquid crystal is disposed on the board 1. The liquid crystal panel (a) has a laminated structure of a signal side glass substrate 2 and a scanning side glass substrate 3. In this structure, a transparent electrode 11, an insulating layer 14 and an alignment film 12 are successively laminated on the signal glass substrate 2, and a reflection layer 8 consisting of a dielectric multilayered film, a color filter 9, an overcoat layer 10, a transparent electrode 11 and an alignment film 12 are successively laminated on the scanning side glass substrate 3.
