PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press cage for a rolling bearing capable of improving strength of the cage after a completion without increasing cost and complicating design. SOLUTION: Tensile strength and durability of the cage are improved by reducing plate thickness of a steel plate to be a material of the pressed cage for the rolling bearing to 0.05<=1-t/to<=0.20 (in the case of plate thickness (t) at completion and plate thickness (to) at material) by cold plastic working such as cold rolling and properly working and hardening the steel plate.
