PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To finely adjust a punch hole position in the direction vertical to the carrying direction by utilizing a shift mechanism for sorting delivered paper sheet bundles. SOLUTION: This paper sheets working device is provided with carrying passages 210, 220 and 240 provided in a main body 1 of an image forming device to deliver paper sheets delivered from the main body 1 to a first, a second and a third delivery trays 214, 321 and 301, and provided with a punch unit 500 for punching the paper sheets. In order to shift the paper sheets delivered to the first, the second and the third delivery trays 214, 321 and 301 in a direction vertical to the carrying direction, a shift roll 202 is movaly supported in the direction vertical to the carrying direction to shift the paper sheets. When finely adjusting the paper sheets in the vertical direction for punching, a CPU controls the shift roll (inlet carrying roll) 202 to shift in the vertical direction in relation to the paper sheets.
