PURPOSE: A double-sided luminescent display apparatus and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve the black state due to an aluminium reflection of an organic electron-luminescent layer by forming the organic electron-luminescent layer on the inner and outer of a pixel. CONSTITUTION: An organic EL(Electron-Luminescent) unit(40) of a first mode is formed on a glass substrate(30). An organic EL units(50a,50b) of a second mode are formed on the glass substrate(30) by neighboring the organic EL unit(40) of a first mode. A plastic/glass member(60) is jointed to an opposite face of the glass substrate(30). Plural spacers(62) are formed between the glass substrate(30) and the plastic/glass member(60). A polarizer(64) is formed on the glass substrate(30) and the plastic/glass member(60) except for the range corresponding to the organic EL unit(40) of the first mode.
