PURPOSE: A mirror pad of a side mirror is provided to minimize the size of a mirror pad and to reduce the cost of a mold and material by allowing the mirror of the side mirror to extend over part of a mirror supporting frame. CONSTITUTION: A mirror pad(12) is provided which is sized to be approximate to that of a bolt fastening hole(5) of a side mirror. This mirror pad(12) has a mirror supporting frame(2). The mirror supporting frame(2) is provided with a prop(10) which presses the outer periphery of the mirror pad(12) so that the mirror pad(12) carries out a sufficient hermetical function. The mirror pad is provided with a groove portion(14) into which the prop(10) is inserted, and a projection portion(16) which is pressed along with a supporting plate(3) by the prop(10).
