PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflection preventing film being excellent in physical durability as represented by wear resistance and in chemical durability such as chemical resistance and further sufficiently bringing out a reflection preventing function. SOLUTION: The reflection preventing film contains a binder layer with <=50 vol.% internal porosity and particulates of which one-quarter to one-half of the average particle diameter are buried in the binder layer.
