PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature adjusting device of a stentering machine which is capable of cooling a hot blast under such a state that the amount of air fed and evacuated of a heating chamber is set to be constant and controlling the wide range of temperature. SOLUTION: This temperature adjusting device of a stentering machine comprises a hot blast circulation path 16 which feeds the hot blast to a hot blast blow-off nozzle 12 by means of a circulating fan 14 after sucking the hot blast from the heating chamber A, a heat exchanger 32 for heating and a heat exchanger 31 for cooling provided in the hot blast circulation path 16, a temperature detector 33 which measures the temperature of the hot blast to be fed to the hot blast blow-off nozzle 12, a temperature control device 34 which compares the measured temperature of a thermometer 33 to a set temperature and actuates the heat exchanger 32 for heating or the heat exchanger 31 for cooling based on the comparison results, an air evacuation path 20 for evacuating a part of the hot blast from the heating chamber A to the outside of the chamber A and an air feed path 21 which introduces air into the hot blast circulation path 16 from the outside of the chamber A.
