PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce apparatus costs and to facilitate the adjustment of the pressure of a cavity. SOLUTION: A raw material synthetic resin R1 is converted into a resin R2 in which gas is dissolved by diffusing carbon dioxide gas supplied into the bush chamber 26 of a foaming raw material preparation apparatus 20 which is adjusted in a prescribed temperature environment in the molten resin R1. Then the resin R2 is injected into the cavity 34 of a mold 30 for compression molding, and an upper mold 32 is lifted promptly to sharply reduce the pressure of the cavity 34 so that foam is formed in the cavity 34.
