PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability of a camera by increasing the driving speed of a lens barrel in zooming and decreasing the driving speed of the lens barrel in focusing. SOLUTION: This camera where driving force from a motor is transmitted to the lens barrel via a gear train so as to drive to extend and withdraw the lens barrel is provided with a switching means for switching over the reduction ratio of the gear train at the extending and at the withdrawing of the lens barrel in the gear train. |
