摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple controller monitoring the deviation of an unmanned carrier from a travel route between marks without narrowing the interval of the marks arranged on the ground side and without the need of a facility and incidental work on the ground side at all. SOLUTION: The unmanned carrier loads a car speed detector and a gyro detecting a moving angle, travels the instructed travel route while it calculates a self-position and a travel direction, detects the marks arranged at the prescribed interval in the travel route and corrects present position and direction. Deviation from the travel route between the marks is monitored and a pass schedule point and permission deviation quantity are previously stored as data. When the present position is compared with the pass schedule point and it is beyond the range of permission deviation quantity, it is judged that the unmanned carrier is deviated from the travel route and travel is stopped.
