PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize quick picture display. SOLUTION: An image display device includes an addition part 4 which receives a plurality of image data different by forms and adds an attribute area indicating a form to each pixel data constituting picture data, a frame memory 5 which is connected to the addition part 4 and stores pixel data outputted from the addition part 4, a display controller 6 which is connected to the frame memory 5 and performs control for display of pixel data stored in the frame memory 5, and a display device 7 which is connected to the display controller 6 and displays a picture. The display controller 6 includes a discrimination part 8 which discriminates a form of pixel data and an output part 9 which is connected to the discrimination part 8 and outputs pixel data in accordance with the form of pixel data discriminated by the discrimination part 8.
