PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further increase a sound attenuation quantity without making an impressed voltage higher. SOLUTION: A pair of electrodes 10 and 11 of the soundproof panel comprising an electroviscous body 1 which is increased in its viscosity when electricity is applied thereto and a pair of the electrodes 10 and 11 which apply electric fields to this electroviscous body 1 respectively have plural projecting parts 10B and 11B which project like a comb from the substrates 10A and 11A. Other- side projecting parts 11B are interposed between the one-side projecting parts 10B of a pair of the electrodes 10 and 11, by which the one-side projecting parts 10B and the other-side projecting parts 11B are alternately lined up, by which the sound waves coming from a direction (arrow P2 direction) perpendicular to the lining-up direction of the one-side projecting parts 10B and the other- side projecting parts 11B are attenuated.
