FERRULE FOR OPTICAL FIBER CONNECTORS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obviate the adhesive dripping hole of the ferrule part by adopting a structure where an adhesive is injected from the optical fiber insertion part of the rear part of the ferrule instead of dripping the adhesive. SOLUTION: A ferrule 3 used for connecting one or a plurality of optical fibers 112 in block is provided in its rear part with an insertion hole 31 for inserting a coated optical fiber 112b whose sheath end is removed and whose front end part is cut, and is further provided with an installation part 35 for guiding the coated optical fiber 112b separately and one or a plurality of fine through holes 33 for positioning the coated optical fiber 112b in the front end side of the insertion hole 31. The insertion hole 31 functions also as a hole into which the adhesive is injected.
