PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for measuring the parallelism between a pair of long members capable of easily and accurately measuring the parallelism between the pair of long members. SOLUTION: The device for measuring the parallelism between a pair of long members is provided with both a cross index 10 provided on one roll 1 and supported by a cross index support 11 and a telescope 20 with a cross scale 20a provided on the other roll 2. The telescope 20 is supported by a telescope support 21 mounted to a rotating plate 22 which rotates over the other roll 2. By matching the cross scale 20a of the telescope 20 with the cross index 10 while rotating the telescope 20, it is possible to accurately obtain the parallelism between the pair of rolls 1 and 2.
