PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire internal pressure adjusting device which can improve the safe running of a vehicle. SOLUTION: The tire internal pressure adjusting device comprises a road surface friction coefficient judging means to detect or judge the friction coefficient between the tire surface of the running vehicle and the road surface and an internal pressure adjusting means to adjust the air pressure in a tire and is provided with a circuit to adjust the air pressure in the tire to a specified low air pressure from the preset reference air pressure when the above friction coefficient is judged lower than the preset value, and a circuit to adjust the air pressure to the reference air pressure when the above friction coefficient returns to a sufficiently high preset value.
