PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock device for a vehicular seat that is appreciably operable and operationally reliable. SOLUTION: A seat back 3 has a first and a second catch 12A and 12B on the left and right sides. The first and second catches 12A and 12B have respective lock levers 14A and 14B turnable between a first turning position to catch a striker 10 and a second turning position to release the catching state and operable for a turning motion from the first turning position to the second turning position via an operation of an operating knob 21. Between the first lock lever 14A on the first catch 12A and the second lock lever 14B on the second catch 12B, a first wire 15A interlocks the turning motion of the first lock lever 14A to the catching side and the turning motion of the second lock lever 14B to the catching releasing side, and a second wire 15B interlocks the turning motion of the first lock lever 14A to the catching releasing side and the turning motion of the second lock lever 14B to the catching side.
