PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spine member for bookbinding with durability which hardly breaks by increasing the strength of the spine member. SOLUTION: A spine member 14 for bookbinding is bonded to the spine side region of a notebook body 13 into which sheets of the paper P are held between a face cover 11 and a back cover 12. The spine member 14 for bookbinding is equipped with abase paper 20, a resin sheet 24 bonded to the outer face side of the base paper 20 through an adhesive layer 21 and a printing layer 23 provided on the inner face side of the resin sheet 24. In addition, the outer face side of the resin sheet 24 is embossed.
