PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To design a roof which allows its eaves to have different desired protruding dimensions from respective skeletons and allows its eaves edges to have the same height, irrespective of the arrangement of the skeletons. SOLUTION: The arrangement of the roof with respect to the skeletons are determined such that the eaves edges (end beams 13 and 14) have the same height and the lengths of corbel beams 17 (protruding dimensions of the eaves) attached to the respective skeletons 15 and 16 are set to desired dimensions. By separating design of a building associated with the arrangement of the skeletons from design of the roof associated with the arrangement of the eaves, the shape of the roof and the protruding dimensions of the eaves of the roof from the skeletons can be set irrespective of the arrangement of the skeletons (planar shape of the building). |
