PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal-ceramic joined body in which defects or dispersion in strength are hardly caused in the joined part by selecting the material of steel and cooling conditions considering the melting point of brazing filler metal to be used. SOLUTION: This metal-ceramic joined body 1 has such as structure that a metal body 2 and a ceramic body 4 are joined together while interposing a brazing filler metal layer 3 between them.
