PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation system in which a portable navigation system 200 is carried without trouble while being used during a walk and by which a route can be guided by a simple operation by a method wherein an on-vehicle navigation system 100 provided with a GPS reception part 11 and the system 200 provided with a GPS reception part 21 and a mobile communication part 22 can be connected and separated by a communication cable 300 and a charging cable 301. SOLUTION: A route search result up to a destination from a starting place by a route search part 14 in the system 100 is transferred to, and stored in, the system 200 provided with the part 22. A user carries only the system 200 from a vehicle. The user can be guided up to the destination by using a present position measured by the part 21 at the system 200. |
