PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger without the possibilities of causing dislocation and rattling to a side plate. SOLUTION: In a heat exchanger with the bent part of a serpentine tube 3 inserted into the slot 2 of a side plate 1 to be held, an outer surface side flange for caulking 5A projecting to the outer surface side of the side plate 1 and an inner surface side flange for caulking 5B projecting to the inner surface side of the side plate 1 are formed on the wall of the slot 3, and the tube 3 is caulked from the outer and inner surface sides of the side plate 1 by these flanges to be fixed. |
