PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a winding-in prevention device of a roller capable of preventing winding-in of a foreign matter into a winding-in region between a moving body and the roller irrespective of a form of the moving body. SOLUTION: In the roller rotating in contact with the rotating or moving moving body, a shielding object arranged so as to oscillate freely in the direction of rotation of the roller and come into contact with and leave a contact peripheral face of the roller freely is provided in the winding-in region advancing toward a contact section of the moving body and the roller, and the shielding object moves in the direction of rotation of the roller due to contact friction with the roller to prevent winding-in of the foreign matter between the moving body and the roller.
