PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mothproof tool for a sliding sash having a simple new structure capable of closing an opening formed between a glass-door movable fitting section and a wire-screen movable fitting section even under the state in which the glass-door movable fitting section is opened up to its midway and capable of being easily used even to a sliding sash having a conventional structure. SOLUTION: In the mothproof tool 60, the mothproof tool is installed by fixing onto the pane 20 of the glass-door movable fitting section 12, and the projecting front end section can be slid to a net 42 for the wire-screen movable fitting section 16 while the mothproof tool can be deformed elastically in the sliding direction of the glass-door movable fitting section.
