PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel sheet cleaning equipment constituted in such a manner that steel sheets can be uniformly and well cleaned by evenly spraying cleaning oil in the longitudinal direction of a brush roll and that the stagnation of foreign matter in respective oil diffusion pipes of cleaning oil discharge piping can be drastically suppressed. SOLUTION: In the steel sheet cleaning equipment constituted to nip the steel sheet 1 with brush rolls 3 of two stages one above the other and to rub and clean the steel sheet while spraying the cleaning oil 5 to the steel sheet in mid-way of the line, the cleaning oil discharge piping 6 is constituted to a loop form by a pair of the oil diffusion pipes 10 and 10 which extend in the longitudinal direction of the brush rolls 3 in the front and rear positions of the brush rolls 3 of the respective stages and are opened with discharge holes 11 for the cleaning oil 5 at the plural points in the longitudinal direction thereof, an oil feed pipe 9 which distributes an introduces the cleaning oil 5 to the respective base ends of both oil diffusion pipes 10 and 10 and a recovering pipe 12 which joins and recovers the excess cleaning oil 5 withdrawn from the respective front ends of the both oil diffusion pipes 10 and 10.
