PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing peroxyurea that has a production efficiency increased by granulating crystals. SOLUTION: In this method for producing peroxyurea by allowing hydrogen peroxide to react with urea followed by crystallization of the peroxyurea formed, a water-soluble high molecular compound, preferably an anionic high molecular compound or a salt thereof, a hydroxyl group-bearing high molecular compound or a copolymer including them, for example, a polyacrylic acid, polyvinyl alcohol, polyethylene glycol, or the like, is added to the reaction mother liquor in an amount of 10-10,000 ppm.
