PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permanently bring both of incident and exit microlens arrays into tight contact with each other by lessening the deformation in molding of both lens arrays and lessening the deformation under ambient temperature and humidity conditions. SOLUTION: The light from a back light (2) is modulated by transmission type liquid crystal display elements (1a and 1b) to form display images. These display images are macroprojected to a back projection type screen by optical parts having transparent plates (7a and 7b), imagery means (5a and 5b) having the incident side and exit side microlens arrays and enlarging means (6a and 6b). The enlarging means (6a and 6b)are composed of concave Fresnel lenses and the imagery means (5a and 5b) are sandwiched by the transparent plates (7a and 7b) and the enlarging means (6a and 6b). The circumferences of the transparent plates (7a and 7b) and the enlarging means (6a and 6b) are fixed or half fixed. |
